A memory of Astoria (Excerpt): Stop action animation on a single surface canvas, 3'43"
Commissioned for the Museum of the Moving Image; organized by Jason Eppink, Curator of Digital Media
Based on experiences from walks (cardinal directions) of the museum's surrounding neighborhoods. Sound was collected from the actual places I depicted in the animation. I remade the conversations, music and sounds of the environment.
